LI man, 28, arrested for smashing the windows of 25 cars with a brick

Tejinder Signh, 28, allegedly damaged 25 vehicles before officers arrested him.

Authorities first received reports of a man smashing car windows along East Meadow Avenue around 8:20 a.m.

Police said they caught up with him near the intersection of Cambridge Street and Prospect Avenue, where they arrested him.

After a brief investigation, the Nassau County Police Department determined he was responsible for similar incidents on Monday and Tuesday.

Police charged Singh with criminal mischief.

His first court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
